Overview
A heart attack happens when blood flow to the heart is blocked.
Symptoms
- Chest pain or pressure
- Pain in arm, neck, jaw
- Shortness of breath
- Sweating and nausea

- Do: Keep patient calm and seated
- Don’t: Do not delay emergency help
First Aid
- Call emergency services immediately
- Loosen tight clothes
- Give aspirin only if prescribed
Stroke
Overview
Stroke occurs when blood supply to the brain stops.
Symptoms
- Face drooping
- Weak arm or leg
- Slurred speech
Do’s & Don’ts
- Do: Call emergency immediately
- Don’t: Do not give food or water
First Aid
- Lay patient on side
- Keep head slightly raised
High BP (Hypertensive Crisis)
Overview
Very high blood pressure can damage organs.
Symptoms
- Severe headache
- Nose bleeding
- Chest pain
Do’s & Don’ts
- Do: Keep patient relaxed
- Don’t: Avoid physical activity
First Aid
- Seek emergency medical care
- Do not give unprescribed medicine
Low BP (Shock)
Overview
Low BP reduces blood flow to vital organs.
Symptoms
- Dizziness
- Cold skin
- Fainting
Do’s & Don’ts
- Do: Raise legs slightly
- Don’t: Do not make patient stand
First Aid
- Lay patient flat
- Cover with blanket
Asthma Attack
Overview
Asthma attack causes difficulty in breathing.
Symptoms
- Wheezing sound
- Chest tightness
- Shortness of breath

- Do: Help use inhaler
- Don’t: Do not panic
First Aid
- Seat patient upright
- Repeat inhaler if needed
Severe Bleeding
Overview
Heavy bleeding can be life-threatening.
Symptoms
- Continuous bleeding
- Weakness
Do’s & Don’ts
- Do: Apply pressure
- Don’t: Remove objects from wound
First Aid
- Use clean cloth
- Apply firm pressure
Burns
Overview
Burns skin damage hoti hai jo heat, chemicals, electricity ya fire se hoti hai.
Symptoms
- Red or blistered skin
- Severe pain
- Swelling
Do’s & Don’ts
- Do: Burn area ko thanday pani se thanda karo
- Don’t: Ice, oil, toothpaste ya cream na lagao
First Aid
- 10–15 minutes tak running water lagao
- Clean cloth se cover karo
- Severe burn me hospital le jao
Snake Bite
Overview
Snake bite me venom body me enter ho sakta hai jo dangerous hota hai.
Symptoms
- Swelling and pain at bite area
- Nausea or vomiting
- Breathing difficulty

- Do: Patient ko bilkul still rakho
- Don’t: Bite ko cut ya suck na karo
First Aid
- Bite area ko immobilize karo
- Tight items remove karo
- Immediately hospital le jao
Food Poisoning
Overview
Contaminated food ya water se food poisoning hoti hai.
Symptoms
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Stomach cramps

- Do: Fluids aur ORS do
- Don’t: Junk aur spicy food na do
First Aid
- ORS solution do
- Rest karne do
- Severe case me doctor se consult
Acute Respiratory Failure
Overview
Is condition me lungs body ko sufficient oxygen nahi de pate.
Symptoms
- Severe breathing problem
- Blue lips or fingers
- Confusion or anxiety

- Do: Emergency services call karo
- Don’t: Patient ko akela na choro

- Patient ko upright position me bithao
- Airway clear rakho
- Immediate medical help lo
